Roy’s Homemade Caribbean Cuisine
Roy’s Caribbean Restaurant was established in January of 1990 in Albany, New York by Roy Vincent and his wife Josette Vincent. Roy was born in Western Land Jamaica, a small province near Kingston. Josette, who goes by Rose, was born Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Roy and Rose immigrated to Albany, New York with their five kids, in March 1982 and Roy began his career in construction and home improvement while dreaming of starting his own restaurant.
Roy’s family run restaurant would like to invite you to come in and let us show you how very much we treasure the art of cooking traditional Caribbean cuisine along with tradition American comfort food favorites.
Food has a special ability to bring people together. Roy and Rose believes their restaurant brings homemade Caribbean cuisine to the capital region and they hope you will find that this online community feels just as welcoming as if you were in their home kitchen.
